YoungerEarly learner’s imaginations will soar as they engage in dramatic play with stories from around the world. Children become part of the story as they explore characters, culture and settings, and even problem solve to change the story outcomes!

Grades 2-5                        Play in a Day
June 3                               9:00 am – 4:00 pm         Cost: $75

Young artisbroadway-kidsts will create a brand new play that is all their own in just one day! Students will take on the role of playwright, director, set designer, costume designer, and actor as they bring their own script to life. This day will culminate with a performance of this new work in which families will be invited to attend the final 30 minutes of class and become the audience.

Rising Grades 2-6            Sing, Dance, Act
June 19 – 23                     9:00 am – 4:00 pm        Cost: $235

Students will create scenes and musical numbers while developing characters and staging stories as an ensemble. Young actors will engage in various singing styles and dance techniques throughout this fun-filled camp!

Rising Grades 2-6            Fulton Theatre Wizard Academy
June 26 – 30                    9:00 am – 4:00 pm                  Cost: $250

Do you love the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter and similar stories? If so, you will love this week-long camp in which students will build their arts skills through activities based on the well-known works of J.K. Rowling. Students will be sorted into houses, build their own wands, create charms and potions, and write and perform their very own wizard inspired scenes and stories. You won’t want to miss this one of a kind camp!

Newsies ImageGet an all access backstage pass to the Fulton Theatre’s Mainstage production of Newsies! Learn about each element of the production: costumes, props, set design, and work with professional actors from the production to build and develop strong musical theatre skills.

Rising Grades 6-12           Acting 101
July 10 – 14                       12:00 pm – 4:00 pm                Cost: $150

GirlsStudents will dive into the Actor’s process analyzing and creating characters through individual and ensemble scene study. Students will learn how to use their bodies and voices to build strong and believable characters and relationships with fellow actors. Students will also get an inside peek of the Fulton Theatre and the entire theatrical process and the many artists that it takes to make a production successful!

Rising Grades 6-12          Broadway Jr. Production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.
M-F  July 17 – Aug 4        9:00 am – 4:00 pm     Cost: $425

Disney B&B Jr2Be a part of Fulton Theatre’s most popular camp as we create a musical theatre production from the beginning. Conceptualize the show as a Director and a Designer and then become a member of an exciting musical cast! Students will participate in all aspects of the show, training in strong performance techniques and developing a depth of knowledge for a theatrical production. Ensemble skills will be practiced and friendships will be formed at this high-energy camp.

Audition Workshop with Fulton Theatre’s Executive Artistic Producer, Marc Robin
Monday, July 10              6:00pm – 9:00 pm     Cost: $100

AuditionsJoin nationally renowned director and choreographer, Marc Robin for a one of a kind professional development workshop that provides actors with the tools to be successful in the audition process. Marc Robin has cast hundreds of productions around the country and will provide great insight into taking the stress out of this crucial component of the theatre business. This class is designed for intermediate actors with stage experience. Students should prepare 2 contrasting songs for this class.
