Operating year-round over four different semesters, the Fulton Academy of Theatre provides area children and adults with professional instruction in the theatre arts.

Academy classes focus on four core areas - basic acting, movement, voice, and areas of specialization (anything from make-up to directing to scenic design). The summer is dedicated to intensive daily courses with performance components at the Fulton Theatre and two satellite sites. The Fulton was selected as a pilot site by Music Theatre International to help develop its "Broadway Jr." productions during our summer sessions. This summer, our "Broadway Jr." title is Once On This Island, and our "Junior Broadway Jr." title is Dr. Doolittle. We also have brought back the popular morning Young Actors Workshop and afternoon Performance Project, where students add to their actor's toolbox. And we join forces with the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design to offer a hands-on cultural experience.

More than 500 students ranging from pre-schoolers to high school seniors, take Academy classes each year, with scholarship aid available to those facing financial needs. More Information on Scholarships
