A Broadway mainstay with 11 shows under his belt, Devin has been seen as Fred in Smokey Joe's Cafe, Fleetwood in The Life, Le Jazz Hot singer in Victor/Victoria, Judge Yertle the Turtle in Seussical and is now performing as the deep voiced Gospeleer doing the infamous "secret showstopper" (playbill.com) "The Begat" in Finian's Rainbow at the St. James Theatre.

Broadway has been nice to Devin but his 2 favorite & non traditional roles were both performed regionally. He was the 2nd black Javert ever in Les Miserables at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, MA and probably the only black Capt. Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY

On TV Devin has appeared on 30 Rock as Black Frasier Crane, Law & Order (original recipe), The Jamie Kennedy Show as well as in Musical Performances of Stephen Sondheim's Emmy Award winning musical, Passion as Lt. Barri starring Patti Lupone and Audra Mcdonald, on Live at Lincoln Center, Camelot starring Christopher Lloyd and Gabriel Byrne with the NY Philharmonic, and Showboat starring opera star Nathan Gunn at Carnegie Hall, as well as on many Great Performance shows on PBS. He has also appeared four times on the Tony Awards.

Easily able to move through a variety of musical genres he is often compared to Al Jarreau, Billy Eckstein, Isaac Hayes and Paul Robeson, yet he has a style all his own which is portrayed in this debut cd, "My Own Voice". Through witty banter and song he truly expresses his own voice.

He has performed with stars Harry Connick Jr, Gladys Knight, Lou Rawls, Rick Springfield, Audra Mcdonald, Julie Andrews, Tony Orlando, Joan Jett, Leslie Gore and Gloria Gaynor to name only a few.

In concerts he has performed at Carnegie Hall, at Lincoln Center with the NY Philharmonic as well as singing in clubs such as Birdland, Iridium Jazz Club, Cleopatra's Needle, and the Metropolitan Room.
