Actor Bios![]() Charles Abbott (Childcatcher, Junkman) returns to the Fulton Theatre, where he appeared as Blind Pew and Ben Gunn in Robin and Clark's Treasure Island, Patsy and The Mayor in Spamalot, and directed Deathtrap. As an Artistic Director: Maine State Music Theatre from 1991 to 2010. Prior to that, Associate Artistic Director of The Alliance and Atlanta's Children's Theatre. As a director: Walnut Street Theatre, 28 productions including 4 world premieres; 2010 recipient of the Edwin Forrest Lifetime Achievement Award, 5 Barrymore nominations, 2 Barrymore Awards. Theatre Under the Stars and the Alley Theatre in Houston, 15 productions including the world premiere of Yeston/Kopit's Phantom! and two star-filled productions of Follies. For Oklahoma! at LA Opera he won the first-ever Drama-Logue Award. Other honors include the Tempo Award in California, the Scotty in Atlanta, and Best of Theatre Awards in Columbus and Kansas City. He has directed multiple plays at Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Music Theatre of Wichita and the New Theatre. As an actor: The Emcee in Cabaret, performing it over a thousand times since beginning in the 1st national tour under Harold Prince's direction and culminating in a Barrymore Award-winning run at WST. Broadway and national tours: Two Gentlemen of Verona, Blood Red Roses, Marat/DeSade and as Joel Grey's standby for The Grand Tour. He is proud to have an annual SDC Foundation Fellowship in his name, awarded each year to a burgeoning director selected to assist a mentor director at a leading regional theatre. ![]() Hope Abrom (Youth Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to the Fulton where she was last seen in The Sound of Music (Louisa), Oklahoma and Oliver. She has performed the lead of Sarah in Hershey Park's Christmas Show, and was recently seen in 13 (Kendra) at EPAC, and Schoolhouse Rock Live (Interplanet Janet) at the Dutch Apple. Favorite roles include: Alice in Wonderland (Alice), Charlotte's Web (Fern), and White Christmas (Susan Waverly). She studies ballet, pointe and jazz and will return to the Joffrey Ballet (NYC) this summer to study. Hope also loves to write, sew and play the piano and violin. No stranger to Lancaster, Brandon has spent several seasons here on stage at Sight & Sound. Favorite credits: 42nd Street, Crazy for You, and Mike Minery's tap ensemble. She was last seen in the Fulton's production of The Sound of Music this winter. Becker (Ensemble) Holly Becker's love of dance began at The Hanover School of Ballet performing throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Holly graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA in Jazz Dance Performance, and was hand picked to perform in Liverpool, England and Tokyo, Japan. Holly also performed in Donald Trumps' New Years Eve, in the opening ceremony of the US Open, and on the French TV show La Grand Cabaret Du Monde. Holly's musical theater repertoire include Joseph, It's a Dog's Life, Toyland, The Wizard of Oz, Phantom, and CATS. Holly continued her travels with Royal Caribbean International sailing all over the world. She is very excited for her Fulton debut! ![]() Mariah Belgrod (Youth Ensemble) Mariah Belgrod is thrilled to be back at the Fulton where she got her start in acting as Flora in The Turn of the Screw. She is 13 years old and attends Garden Spot. Other credits include Oliver! (Workhouse Child), Fiddler on the Roof (Bielke), Les Misérables (Young Eponine), Annie (Duffy), Fulton Follies, and has most recently been an understudy for The Sound of Music. Mariah enjoys dancing ballet, Pointe, tap, and playing the guitar. Belz (Youth Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to the Fulton! She was recently seen playing Grace in Frosty the Snowman (Dutch Apple). Emily has appeared in school productions of Oliver! (Bet), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Yellow Boat, and Peter Pan. She also performed in the 2010 Christmas Show at the American Music Theatre. Emily studies voice, guitar, and songwriting and sings in her school chorus and folk music group. Christiana studies voice with Gwynne Geyer and takes dance at the Victor Yeliohin International Ballet Academy. She has just finished her sophomore year in high school. Soon to be a sixth grader at Chippewa Middle School in Des Plaines IL, Aidan enjoys composing original music on the piano, playing on his Wii, reading, playing handball and gymnastics, and hanging out with his friends. ![]() Isabelle Grubbs (Youth Ensemble) 13, is thrilled to be coming back to the Fulton. Last year she was in the Fulton's production of Phantom. She recently assisted as running crew and dresser in the production of Shadowlands at Provision Theatre in Chicago. Isabelle just finished her 7th grade year at Chippewa Middle School in Des Plaines, IL. She enjoys participating in chorus, school plays, and talent shows. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, playing volleyball, designing clothes and costumes, and hanging out with her friends.
